Lucky for us, this treat only takes a few minutes to make and uses SPLENDA® Sugar Blend to help sweeten up this St. Patrick’s Day. Thanks, Erica D. of P.S. – I Made This…! See original recipe here.

Recipe: St. Paddy’s Day Crispy Cinnamon Sticks

Ingredients:

  • Thawed puff pastry (quantity should reflect desired amount of crispy cinnamon sticks)
  • 2 cups SPLENDA® Sugar Blend
  • 2 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • Chocolate or Wilton Candy Melts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Allow frozen puff pastry to thaw
  2. Combine SPLENDA® Sugar Blend and cinnamon
  3. Cut dough into squares that fit in waffle iron; cook on medium heat for five minutes
  4. Toss the puff pastry squares in the cinnamon mixture
  5. Cut the puff pastry into sticks after they cool
  6. Dip (or drizzle) crispy cinnamon sticks in your favorite melted chocolate or other sweet options (we opted for a green hue for St. Paddy’s Day, naturally)
