Splenda Sweet Swaps

It’s hot out there! Avoid the heat a little longer by skipping the morning coffee line, and trying an at-home cold brew recipe from Redbook!

NEW ORLEANS-STYLE COLD BREW RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

Coffee concentrate (makes 20 servings of concentrate)

8 oz. ground coffee with chicory (or ground coffee of your choice)

5 cups filtered water

cheesecloth

Cream

Milk of your choice (as desired)

SPLENDA ZERO™ Liquid Sweetener to taste

DIRECTIONS

1. In a large glass or plastic container stir together ground coffee with the water. Loosely cover with paper towel and set aside for at least 10-12 hours. Strain into a clean container using a mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth. Refrigerate in a tightly closed container for up to 2 weeks.

2. Place 4 oz. of the cold brew into a glass over ice. Top with milk and add SPLENDA ZERO™ Liquid Sweetener to taste. If you prefer a less strong coffee, add water to cold brew before adding milk.
